Photography has always been an interest of mine since it was a form of self expression. I have always been in front of the camera growing up but being behind the camera brings me more joy. Christy created Open Box in 2010, deciding that working for herself and holding true to her own creativity was the path for her. The name Open Box was such a natural choice because she wanted her company name to be something creative, that didn't put her in a box of only using her name or specifying a single genre. Plus she just knew we could create some really unique and beautiful logos with this name. When her oldest son was born in 2013 she was called to portrait and event photography. These moments that we have with our loved ones can be so fleeting and you can't put a price tag on capturing the time we spend with them.
