Well, we were sort of on the beach, we were near the water with the beach just around the corner. But, there was a definite first for me that happened on this shoot – a fun, a crazy proof of what a mother will do for her children – kind of first. These awesome kids were so much fun to chase around, and mom and dad were great at helping to get them to smile and laugh – then part way through the session a little blue bouncy ball rolled off the dock and plop! into the water. After a few photos of an forlorn child that her bouncy ball was now floating away, this awesome mom decided, hey, it’s just water! And heroically jumped in to get the ball. It was pretty great, and although dad didn’t really want a big wet hug, we still got a few more happy smiling photos after that.
